We believe that Canadians should make sure that our government moves swiftly to address the the NAFTA memo leak, which is why we put up this billboard. The billboard doesn’t have anything to do with partisan politics. We would be asking the same question regardless of who was in power in Ottawa. The fact is, the leak of a confidential Foreign Affairs memo, especially one of such a sensitive nature given the timing of the leak, is something that must be thoroughly and conclusively investigated.

Regardless of who becomes the next president of the United States, the Canadian Government must show a willingness to build a strong relationship with him or her. This leak is a poor start in terms of building trust into that relationship.
